Solar permits fail for two reasons: the roof structure was never checked, and the electrical drawing does not match what will actually be installed. We handle both on the same set.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need PE stamped MEP drawings for a permit?
Commercial and multi-family projects almost always require sealed MEP drawings. Residential requirements vary: a service upgrade, a new HVAC system in a conditioned addition, a solar array or any commercial change of use will typically trigger the requirement. Send us your scope and we will confirm what your jurisdiction asks for.
Can you do just the electrical, without mechanical and plumbing?
Yes. Each discipline can be ordered separately, and each is sealed by an engineer licensed in that discipline.
Do you provide Manual J and Manual D calculations?
Yes — ACCA Manual J load calculations, Manual S equipment selection and Manual D duct design, supplied as a sealed report alongside the mechanical drawings when the AHJ requires them.
Can you stamp a solar plan set my installer already produced?
We review it first. Where the electrical design and the roof structural capacity check out, we seal it. Where they do not, we correct the set and then seal the corrected version — sealing unreviewed work is not permitted by any state board.
