JURISDICTION DETAIL

Where the local rules really change the drawings

Florida & the Gulf Coast

Florida Building Code, High Velocity Hurricane Zone requirements in Miami-Dade and Broward, product approval and NOA references, and wind pressures derived from ASCE 7 for the exact site.

California & the West

California Building and Residential Codes, seismic design categories, Title 24 energy compliance, and local hillside, wildfire and soils requirements.

New York & the Northeast

NYC Construction Codes and the state Uniform Code, coastal wind zones on Long Island, and snow loads and frost depths that vary sharply by county.

Texas & the South

City-adopted IBC and IRC editions that differ between neighbouring municipalities, coastal wind requirements, and expansive-soil foundation design.

Mountain & Midwest

Ground snow loads, deep frost footings, drifting and sliding snow on additions, and altitude adjustments for mechanical equipment sizing.

Everywhere else

If your jurisdiction is not listed above, it is still covered. Send the address and we will confirm licensure and code basis before quoting.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is a PE stamp from another state valid on my permit?

No. A Professional Engineer must hold an active licence in the state where the project is located for the seal to be valid on that permit. That is why we match the engineer to the jurisdiction on every job.

Do you cover small towns and rural counties?

Yes. Licensure is at state level, so once we are licensed in your state we can seal for any city, town or county within it. We confirm the locally adopted code edition and any amendments before drafting.

Can you handle projects in multiple states for one client?

Yes — that is a common arrangement for solar installers, franchise builders and national contractors. Sheets are prepared to a consistent standard and sealed by the correct licensee in each state.

Do you work on federal, tribal or military sites?

Those projects follow their own review process and criteria. Send the details and we will tell you honestly whether it is a good fit before you commit.
